VIRTUAL COCKPIT FOR FUTURISTIC SHOWCAR

Bosch

For the Bosch Showcar* at the CES 2016 in Las Vegas, the largest US trade fair for consumer electronics, innovation mecom conceived, designed and programmed a virtual cockpit. The system consists of a total of seven displays, whereby the driver and passenger display were installed in the form of a curved model in 21 inches. The system communicates with people through eye and gesture sensors as well as a novel haptic display that sends a perceptible feedback when touched and thus feels like a real, mechanical push of a button. For the control of the hardware, innovation mecom relied on the flashbeam engine v6 developed especially for this purpose, which for the first time enables real-time animations within a network cluster.
