Virtual Cockpit for CES 2016 in Las Vegas

For the Bosch showcar* on CES in Las Vegas, the biggest US fair for entertainment electronics, innovation mecom produced, designed and programmed a virtual cockpit. The system consists of seven displays, whereat the driver and co-driver display is a curved version in 21 inch. The system communicates with the driver by eye and gesture sensors as well as a novel haptic-display, which generates a sensible feedback and therefore feels like a real, mechanic press of a button. For the regulation of the hardware innovation mecom works with a specifically developed flashbeam-engine v6 enabling realtime-animation within one network-cluster for the first time.
